NAMUNYAK COMPRENSIVE SCHOOL INCEPTION
Namunyak Comprehensive School opened its doors in January 2024 with just one brave learner called Jayden Saitabau Otuni.This marked the beginning of a journey driven by faith, resilience, and deep commitment to providing access to quality education in the heart of Maasai land. despite the challenges, the school steadily grew. Welcoming three learners shortly after, and today proudly serves 18 children in Pre primary 1(PP1) & pre primary 2(PP2). Each new step has been a testament to the community’s belief in the power of education and the bright future it holds for their children.

Namunyak Comprehensive School is a learning institution situated in the heart of Masai land, Kenya. Our vision is to provide quality, inclusive education to children in our community, especially those from pastoralist backgrounds who often begin schooling at a later age and travel long distances to access learning.
- Walking several kilometers daily to reach the school.
- Delayed school entry, with children starting education as late as age 10 or older.
- Frequent relocation of families due to pastoralist lifestyles, leading to inconsistent attendance.
- Limited access to educational materials, proper school facilities, and meals.
- Socioeconomic challenges in pastoralist families that limit their ability to afford school fees.
To provide holistic, affordable, and accessible education that empowers children from Maasai land to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and morally.
